UPDATE 2/27/224 11:00 a.m.: New information was released after two teens were shot late Saturday night on February 24 in Midland Texas. Currently, the incident has been confirmed as an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and although is an ongoing investigation, no arrests have been made.
According to the City of Midland, the 18-year-old, who was shot multiple times, told police that he would not be pressing charges if an arrest was made.
The parents of the 15-year-old, who was shot in the foot, said if an arrest was made, they could press charges, according to the city.
The 18-year-old has been flown to Lubbock from MMH.

MIDLAND, TX — Police reports from Midland and Big Spring have confirmed three separate shootings resulting in injuries and a possible death on Sunday, February 25.
A Midland Police Department press release confirmed that an 18-year-old male was shot multiple times last night across Loop 250/TX-158 from the Scharbauer Sports Complex where the Astound Broadband Stadium, formerly Grande Communications Stadium, is located. Additionally, a 15-year-old male arrived at MMH shortly afterward with a gunshot wound to his foot according to the Midland Police Department.
Both victims from the Midland shootings provided information about the location of the crime scene, where law enforcement officers promptly responded. The incidents are currently classified as aggravated assaults with deadly weapons.
Coincidentally, the Big Spring Police Department also confirmed a shooting early this morning around 6 a.m. in a phone interview with San Angelo LIVE reporters. Big Spring PD did not tell us the health condition of this morning's shooting victim or where it occurred.
As of now, the investigations are ongoing in all three cases, and there have been no arrests made in connection with the shootings as far as we are aware. Authorities are actively working to gather more information and details surrounding the circumstances of the incidents.
