SAN ANGELO, TX — It was almost a classic car. A metallic-colored Chevy Camaro, vintage of around the mid-1990s, was destroyed in a two-car crash at the intersection of W. Beauregard Ave. and Van Buren St. at around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The driver of the Camaro was extracted from the Camaro and and loaded onto a stretcher before being rushed to Shannon ER. From what we can tell, this was the only major injury.
It appears the maroon Chevy Cruz was westbound on Beauregard and the Camaro was northbound on Van Buren. One or the other drivers failed to stop at the stop light and the collision occurred in the middle of the intersection.
Beauregard was closed to traffic while police investigators worked the crash scene.

The driver of the metallic-colored Chevy Camaro was injured and rushed to Shannon on Feb. 17, 2024.
