SAN ANGELO, TX — TLCA San Angelo’s Jeremiah Bullingor finalized the next step in his athletic career on Thursday, February 15. Friends, family, and fellow students all gathered in TLCA’s gym before school let out for the day to watch Bullingor sign to play football at Wayland Baptist University.
Coach Kent Sherrill and Coach Jonah Masters took to the microphone to talk about the young man. They praised his work ethic and ability to play the game. Bullingor was a transfer from Ballinger last year, and Jeremiah said it was one of the best decisions he ever made. He praised TLCA for treating him like a family member right away and said that he wants that same experience in college. Bullingor thinks that Wayland Baptist can give that to him and is excited about the future.
San Angelo LIVE!’s Ryan Chadwick met with Bullingor after the signing to discuss his decision and football career at TLCA. Watch the full interview below:
One of the talented members on the Eagles’ roster, Bullingor was a jack-of-all-trades player. The coaches put him in the game as a running back, defensive end, and kick returner. Playing both ways is never easy, but Bullingor pulled it off well enough to get colleges to notice. Wayland Baptist recruited the young man to play running back for them in the fall, and Bullingor agreed.
The Eagles edge rusher finished his senior season with over 40 tackles in eight games. He also led his team in sacks and added an interception and forced fumble. Bullingor is a raw talent that is willing to work hard and has the athleticism to succeed. Watch out for this young man moving forward, as he should continue to develop into an excellent college football player down the road.
