Bumbling '3-Stooges' Armed Robbers Slip Out of Texas Popeyes Chicken

BEAUMONT, TX - In an unusual and comical turn of events, a trio of armed robbers, humorously referred to as "Larry, Curly, and Moe" by the Beaumont Police Department, attempted to pull off an armed robbery at a Popeyes Chicken in Beaumont, Texas.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on New Year's Eve, as the masked suspects entered the fast-food establishment wielding handguns. However, their criminal escapade took a hilarious turn when the first suspect slipped and fell, creating a chain reaction as the second one tripped over the fallen comrade.

Undeterred by their clumsy start, the third suspect, resembling a novice ice skater, managed to regain balance and avoid joining the human pile of would-be burglars. The Beaumont Police Department shared the surveillance video on social media, seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspects.

The suspects, who fled the scene in a blue vehicle, were described as wearing distinctive clothing despite being masked. The video captures the trio threatening employees, demanding money, and eventually making their escape with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The police department's light-hearted social media post showcased the surveillance footage, inviting the community to recognize the clumsy criminals. Despite the comical aspect, the authorities are taking the armed robbery attempt seriously and urge anyone with information to come forward.

As the investigation continues, the Beaumont Police Department remains vigilant in its efforts to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice, ensuring that even bumbling criminals face consequences for their actions.
