Concho Valley Transit Announces Fare-Free Fixed Route Service

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - Concho Valley Transit is addressing the challenging weather conditions affecting the region. 

To prioritize the safety of commuters, the Fixed Route Service will be fare-free from Monday, Jan. 15, through Wednesday, Jan. 17.

“Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure everyone can travel safely during this period,” Concho Valley Transit stated. “Stay warm and stay safe, Concho Valley!” 

It has been previously reported that a Winter Weather Advisory is currently in effect until noon CST Monday, encompassing Runnels, Tom Green, Schleicher, and Sutton Counties. 

The advisory warns of freezing drizzle, sleet, and light snow, with the potential for total ice accumulations of a few hundredths of an inch, locally reaching up to one-tenth of an inch. 

Minimal snow accumulation is anticipated during this period.
