Juvenile Justice Center Escapees Identified: Considered Dangerous

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - One adult and two juveniles broke free from the Tom Green County Juvenile Justice Center, located at 1253 West 19th Street, at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 08. 

The escapees, in a violent assault on a Juvenile Supervision Officer, managed to flee on foot, prompting an urgent manhunt by law enforcement officials as we reported earlier.  

The fugitives, identified as T'Jon Walker (17 YOA), Julian Tyce Martinez (15 YOA), and Trevon James Damor Wyatt (15 YOA), are currently at large, prompting a coordinated effort from various law enforcement agencies. 

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation, with support from the San Angelo Police Department, The Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers, and the Office of Inspector General for the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice.

T'Jon Walker, also known as "TJ," is described as a 5'8" Black male, weighing 144 lbs, with black/brown hair. Walker, initially detained for Deadly Conduct - Discharge of a Firearm and Theft of a Firearm is now facing additional charges of Assault on a Public Servant (Felony 3), along with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was last seen wearing orange pants and a white T-shirt.

Julian Tyce Martinez, a 15-year-old Hispanic male, stands at 6'0" and weighs 160 lbs, with black/brown hair. Martinez, initially detained for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and with a history of assault, was last seen wearing orange pants and a white T-shirt. A directive to apprehend has been issued for Martinez.

Trevon James Damor Wyatt, a 15-year-old Black male, is described as 5'7" and 142 lbs, with black/brown hair. Wyatt, initially detained for Tampering with evidence, was last seen wearing orange pants and a white T-shirt. A directive to apprehend has also been issued for Wyatt.

The escape is currently an active investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division at 325-655-8111.
