Manhunt for Juvenile Escapees After Assault at Juvenile Justice Center

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -  On Monday, Jan. 8, an assault on a Juvenile Supervision Officer at the Juvenile Justice Center prompted a police response. 

The incident involved three suspects, one adult and two male juveniles.

According to the San Angelo Police Department, the primary offender identified is Tjon Walker, a 17-year-old male. Walker, along with two male juveniles, both 15 years old, managed to escape on foot following the assault.

The specific offense has been categorized as "Assault on a Public Servant." Authorities are currently working to locate the escapees, and the San Angelo Police Department is assisting the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office in the ongoing investigation.

The descriptions of the suspects are as follows:

  • Tjon Walker: Black male, 17 years old, Black hair, Brown eyes. He was last seen wearing orange pants and a white t-shirt.
  • 15-year-old Juvenile (Hispanic): Approximately 160 lbs, approximately 5’10”, Black hair, Brown eyes. Last seen wearing orange pants and a white t-shirt.
  • 15-year-old Juvenile (Black): Approximately 142 lbs, approximately 5’5”, Black hair, Black eyes. Last seen wearing orange pants and a white t-shirt.

In response to the incident, the public is advised to exercise caution by securing doors and windows. Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity promptly to the San Angelo Police Department.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
