SAN ANGELO, TX — Several Concho Valley High School Basketball teams resume play in the New Year on Tuesday, January 2. The district season is rapidly approaching for many of these schools, where every game counts towards a potential district championship and playoff berth.
Here is Tuesday, January 2, schedule for High School Basketball in the Concho Valley:
6A
San Angelo Central (17-5) vs Lubbock Trinity Christian (19-5) in Lubbock at 3:30 p.m.
- The Bobcats travel to Lubbock on Tuesday to face off with the Lions in a rematch from last season. Trinity Christian defeated the Bobcats 65-51 in a contest where the Lions could not miss from the field.
Central Lady Cats (12-9) vs Stephenville Honeybees (15-7) in San Angelo at 1:30 p.m.
- The Lady Cats face a tough test against a talented team in Stephenville. Central will need to play its best to win this matchup.
4A
Lake View Chiefs (8-14) vs Midland Greenwood Rangers (12-9) in San Angelo at 7:30 p.m.
The Chiefs return from Christmas break riding a two-game win streak. Lake View needs to bring their A-game if the Chiefs want to win a game that they lost 54-30.
3A BOYS
