Man with Dementia Found Deceased in Lake Brownwood

BROWNWOOD, TX — A man who had dementia was found deceased in Lake Brownwood on Sunday morning.

According to a release by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, sheriff deputies responded to a call near the Lake Haven area regarding a man with dementia walking away from his residence in the early morning hours around 3:00 a.m.

Several agencies assisted in an extensive search, and just after the sun came up, the man’s body was discovered in the water. His identity is being withheld until his family has been notified.
