25 Jailed on Wednesday

Seven of the 25 inmates booked into the county jail on Wednesday were accused of committing offenses within the past 24 hours. Those offenses included two assaults, two caught carrying drugs, one busted with marijuana, one person jailed for DWI and one person charged with resisting arrest.

The majority of Wednesday's jail bookings can be attributed to warrants and commitments, including those for assault, forgery and burglary. 

Twenty-four inmates were released on Wednesday.
