SAN ANGELO, TX - The Inland Fisheries San Angelo District of Texas Parks and Wildlife recently stocked Foster Park with 700 rainbow trout.
Foster Park is located at 10550 S Farm to Market Rd 2335.
“Trout season has finally arrived,” Inland Fisheries stated. “We are stocking 14 sites with over 25,000 trout this year, so plenty of opportunities to get the family outside and enjoy some winter fishing.”
Inland Fisheries will continue to stock other local bodies of water through December and until February 2024.
Javalina Draw at the San Angelo State Park will be stocked December 21 with 350 rainbow trout.
Oakes Street in San Angelo will receive 664 trout on December 22.
The lakes will be restocked again in mid-January with the same amount.
