SAN ANGELO, TX — An Angelo State Rambelles Volleyball team member recently garnered another post-season accolade. In addition to Lone Star Conference Honors, Belles Outside Hitter Hannah Kinnison earned All-Region Honors for being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-South Central Team. She also was named to the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region Team.
Kinnison, a Food Animal Science major, earns her first all-region honors in her career. Earlier in November, she was also named All-LSC First Team and the Lone Star Conference’s Academic Player of the Year. Hannah had a breakout season in 2023 with 397 kills recorded and hit .332 on the season. She finished second in the conference with 3.82 kills per set average and is the only player in the league to finish in the top 10 in both hit percentage and average kills per set.
The Belles will need another strong performance from Kinnison on Thursday, November 30, for the opening round of the NCAA Division II South-Central Regional Tournament. After a week off, the Belles return to action against the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Champs Regis tomorrow in Canyon.
