En Plein Air Kicks Off in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – The annual En Plein Air event kicked off in San Angelo on Monday.

Festivities began on Oct. 23, 2023, with a ribbon cutting and celebration hosted by Discover San Angelo. Artists also began their painting with the theme of 'Ranch Paintings.' Artists also found their way downtown for inspiration down Chadbourne Street.

 
 
 
 

The event will continue throughout the week with paintings at the Lilly Gardens on Tuesday, the Concho River and Concho St. on Wednesday, the Door Key Ranch on Thursday, Cactus Hotel on Friday, Fort Concho Friday night, the Chicken Farm Art Center on Saturday, and finally, the huge 10-year celebration party and final sale on Saturday night.
