Habitual San Angelo Criminal Sent to Prison

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo habitual criminal will finally face serious jail time after pleading guilty to a hand full of charges.

According to court documents, on Aug. 30, 2023, Dallion Holt, 21, of San Angelo, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a vehicle, two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, four counts of burglary of a vehicle, fraud by possessing between five to ten identification cards, and theft of a firearm.

In exchange for the guilty plea, Holt was sentenced to eight years prison and will have to pay $17,786.85 in restitution.

Holt has been in the news a number of times for various thefts including most recently in March 2023. During this incident, San Angelo Police discovered that Holt had stolen two vehicles. For that story see: Police Arrest Man and Recover Several Stolen Vehicles

The well known San Angelo thief has also been in a number of Facebook Pages and neighborhood watches. The majority of those posts were to let the public know that Holt was out walking the streets of north San Angelo and Grape Creek.

Holt will spend the next eight years in prison. He was given credit for the 161 days he spent in the Tom Green County Jail awaiting trial.
