SAN ANGELO, TX — Ready for College Football? The 2023 NCAA Saturday football slate begins this weekend on Saturday, September 2. The guys at Barstool Sports posted a Facebook post detailing what exactly every College football fan’s Saturday plans should be. An entire day of College football. Detailed in the post was the entire Division I schedule for Saturday.
“Plans for Saturday,” the post read.
Texas College Football kicks off on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the matchup between the Colorado Buffs and the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth. Also, at 11 a.m., SMU hosts Louisiana Tech in Dallas. At 2:30 p.m., the Texas Longhorns host the Rice Owls in Austin. At 3 p.m., the Mean Green in North Texas hosts the Cal Golden Bears.
The Texas A&M Aggies begin the evening slate at 6 p.m. against New Mexico at Kyle Field in College Station. Houston hosts UTSA at 6 p.m. in Houston. Next up, Texas State travels to Waco to play the Baylor Bears. Finally, the Texas Tech Red Raiders kick off their 2023 season at 6:30 p.m. against the Wyoming Cowboys in Wyoming.
The lone late game for Texas teams on opening weekend features Sam Houston State against BYU at 9 p.m. All of these games will be televised through various cable networks and can be streamed online.
