WATCH: Cyclist Injured in Downtown San Angelo Crash

 

SAN ANGELO – A 60-year-old bicyclist was injured Monday morning when he was struck by a pickup pulling out of a bank parking lot.  

According San Angelo Police at the scene, the cyclist was riding on the sidewalk heading south on Koenigheim between Twohig and the bank parking lot on Concho.  

The driver of a black Chevrolet pickup was pulling out of the bank driver through parking lot heading north on Koenigheim.  

Officers say it appears the driver didn't see the cyclist and struck the bicycle.

The cyclist was injured suffering road rash but refused to be taken to the hospital.  

The driver of the pickup was issued a citation for no driver's license.
