SAN ANGELO, TX – The Heff's Burgers location on Sherwood Way in San Angelo shut down Thursday.
According to the business, as of July 6, 2023, the burger joint located at 2902 Sherwood Way, will no longer be in operation.
"This location has closed," reads a sign on the door and drive-thru menu. "Thank you for being a loyal guest to Heff's Burgers."

The local Heff's Burgers opened in September 2021 after years of setting empty after construction. This was the second stint that Heff's attempted a restaurant in San Angelo.
The first location was at at 2019 N. Bryant. At the time the business was kicked out of the building for failing to make rent. For the original story see: Heff's Hamburgers in San Angelo Gets Evicted. It does not seem that is the case this time. Instead a lack of business may have driven them out.
Despite that Heff's has already hinted on a possible return.
"It has been a pleasure serving the community," continued the note on the door. "We hope to do so again in the future."
