Congressman Pfluger Votes to Censure Adam Schiff for Lying

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) voted to censure Representative Adam Schiff (CA-30) for abusing his position of power on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) to promote a false narrative and promote a foreign malign influence campaign against President Donald Trump.

Pfluger said, “Adam Schiff used his position of power to lie to the American people for years and perpetuate a false narrative about the Steele Dossier to justify the sham investigation into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Even after President Trump’s election, Rep. Schiff continued to purposefully spread disinformation. House Republicans are delivering accountability to the American people. We will not allow his lies and promotion of a foreign malign influence campaign to go unpunished.”
