LAS VEGAS— A former NFL Las Vegas Raider and Alabama football player has pleaded guilty after causing a crash that killed a woman and her dog two years ago.
Henry Ruggs, 24, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one count of DUI resulting in death and one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. In November 2021, Ruggs was driving under the influence at twice the legal limit and at speeds that reached 156 mph.
