Bogus Bomb Threat at Local Bar

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Someone said a bomb was planted at a San Angelo bar on Monday afternoon. Luckily the threat was bogus, confirmed the bar's owner. 

According to reporters on scene, on May 8, 2023, at around 4 p.m., officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 4200 block of S. Bryant Blvd., for the report of a bomb threat.

Police did clear the building, and no threat was found. 

San Angelo LIVE! reached out to the City Limit’s Bar Owner, Luis Moreno. He confirm that the threat was “bogus.” 

Police are investigating the situation. More information will be released once provided.
