May the 4th be With You Day Special for Carrie Fisher Fans!

HOLLYWOOD— The late Carrie Fisher received her Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame on Star Wars Day.

May the Fourth Be With You.

Not only is today May the Fourth, but it’s also the day that the late Carrie Fisher received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While Fisher did act in other films besides Star Wars such as The Blues Brothers, When Harry Met Sally, and Drop Dead Fred, her time as Princess and General Leia Organa will always be her most famous role.

Not only was she Leia, but she rewrote scripts all over Hollywood like Hook, Sister Act, and Lethal Weapon 3.

Of course, Fisher passed away in December 2016 before The Last Jedi released and her daughter, Billie Lourd, actually stepped up and shot some scenes, which Fisher’s face was CGI’d over.

All of this bring forward all the Star Wars news, which includes three new movies that will follow several different stories outside the Skywalker Saga. One of those, and the closest one to the Skywalker Saga, will be the return of Daisy Ridley’s character “Rey” as she attempts to rebuild the Jedi Order 15 years after “The Rise Of Skywalker”.

That may excite “The Mandalorian” fans as Star Wars fans will know that Yoda began training Jedi when he was around 100 years old. That means that Grogu, who is the same species as Yoda, will be around that same age when Rey’s movie takes place. So, fans could see Rey and Grogu training the next generation of Jedi.

While on the subject of “The Mandalorian”, Dave Filoni, who has added to the Star Wars universe with the animated series “The Clones Wars” and “The Bad Batch” and has also added fan favorite characters such as Ashoka Tano, Cad Bane, Hera Syndulla, and Bo-Katan Kryze.

Filoni is set to direct a Star Wars movie that will tie up all the Disney+ shows like “The Mandalorian”, “Ashoka”, and “The Book of Boba Fett”.

James Mangold, who directed Logan and recently the new installment of Indiana Jones, will direct a movie set 25,000 years before the Skywalker Saga and explore the first Jedi to ever wield the Force.
