Bobcats Indoor Percussion Team Wins a State Title

COLLEGE STATION, TX — The San Angelo Central Bobcats Indoor Percussion team made their school and their city proud when they won a Texas High School State Championship last Saturday, April 15. 

At the Texas Color Guard Circuit: Reed Arena Percussion & Winds Championships at the Reed Arena in College Station, members of the Percussion team won the Class AA Gold Medal and received the highest score of 88.5 for their performance.

The Bobcats beat out five other schools on their way to a state title. Hudson High School’s Indoor Percussion placed second with a score of 84.675, and Del Rio High School placed third with 83.425.
