Drunk driving, assault and drugs were the leading offenses landing people behind bars over the weekend, when 84 individuals found themselves in the Tom Green County Jail.
Friday started the weekend with two individuals jailed for assault, plus one person apiece booked for marijuna possession, DWI, PI, credit card abuse and evading arrest. An even 26 were booked and 26 were released on Friday.
Saturday was the busiest night of the weekend, when again two were jailed for assault, three for drug possession, two for theft, two for DWI and one person apiece was charged with PI and marijuana. In total, 33 were booked on Saturday, while 22 were released.
Sunday bookings dropped down to 25 and three more drunk drivers were put behind bars, accompanying three jailed for public intoxication and one person each charged with theft, marijuana, assault and resisting arrest. Twenty-six total were released on Sunday.
