Trump to Hold First '24 Campaign Rally in Waco

WACO – Former President Donald Trump has scheduled his first 2024 campaign rally in Waco next Saturday, March 25, 2023.  

According to his campaign website, donaldjtrump.com, registration is required and the rally will be held at the Waco Regional Airport 7909 Karl May Dr. beginning at 5 p.m. with gates opening at noon.   

According to the website, "The American Way of Life is under attack while career politicians destroy our economy and sabotage our nation’s incredible potential. The Texas Tribune is reporting that Texas is the first stop on the 2024 presidential campaign trail for Donald Trump, the former president’s team announced Friday. In this third consecutive bid for the White House, Trump will hold a rally March 25 at the Waco Regional Airport.

While facing criminal charges and less vocal support from Texas GOP leaders, Trump hopes to lock in the loyalty of Lone Star State voters before more Republicans join the primary race.
