Convicted Molester Sent to Prison for Stalking and Threatening

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Dublin man on Monday was sent to prison after he threatened to kill multiple people back in 2019.

According to court documents, on Feb. 13, 2023 at 10:15 a.m., Anthony Vivian, 33, of Dublin, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence.

In return for the guilty plea Vivian will spend the next eight years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's Institutional Division.

The crime that Vivian committed occurred back in Dec. 2019 on FM 2166 near Twin Buttes. At the time Vivian followed an unidentified man to the location and threatened two victims with a .380 caliber handgun. After he left FM 2166, he was pulled over by Tom Green County Sheriff Deputies.

During the traffic stop, Vivian was caught swallowing a bag of meth. Vivian is a felon so he was not allowed to possess a gun. The reason he was a felon was he was convicted of molesting a small boy. For more on Vivian's past see: Sex Offender Jailed After High-Speed Chase and Manhunt Wednesday
