SAN ANGELO, TX — Another Central Bobcat committed to the Angelo State Football Program this weekend. Chase Miller, kicker for the Central Bobcats the last few seasons, will continue his career with the Rams.
Miller joins his quarterback and fellow Bobcat, Tyler Hill. With his decision and track record with the 'Cats, he should excel at Angelo State. Miller converted 51 of 53 point-after attempts this season and added seven field goals on eight attempts. Miller's 96% on PATs and 88% on field goals are exceptional at the high school level.
Chase Miller joins a veteran kicking room and should add a healthy level of competition to Angelo State's football program. No one should be surprised if Miller steps into kicking duties sooner rather than later next season. He has excellent range, and from his stats, it's easy to see how accurate he is kicking field goals.
Now that football is over for the year, Miller now plays soccer as a midfielder and forward for the Bobcats. The 'Cats are 6-1-5 on the 2023 season and open up district play against Midland High on Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in Midland.
