Stabbing Victim on Chadbourne St.

A stabbing at a residence on the corner of E.25th and Chadbourne St. close to 5 p.m. late this evening landed one victim in the hospital. Police appeared to be searching the area and questioning suspects nearby the scene.

Sgt. Ali Shah of the SAPD is in charge of the investigation, and can only confirm at this time that it was indeed a stabbing and a victim was transported to the hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown and the police department will continue their investigation.

As of yet, police have not identified a suspect.

Shah indicated that it was a neighbor that called the police about the stabbing. The sergeant was interviewing a female witness at the Super Stop on Chadbourne and 26th, while a male she was with was in custody. Shah did not indicate whether the male was in any way involved in the stabbing.
