Coach of the Year: Houston Guy, Wall

The ALL-COVER1 Coach of the Year went to a familiar face in the Concho Valley, Wall Hawk Head Coach Houston Guy. Coach Guy and his staff went four rounds deep into the playoffs and were the only 11-man Concho Valley team to make the Regional Finals. His Hawks had 4,071 rushing yards, 313.5 yards per game, on the season and 51touchdowns.

The Wall offense featured a 1,000 yard rusher in Nathan Pepper and 16 different players rushed the ball and eight of those players had over 100 yards plus 12 of them scored at least one time. In the end, Wall scored 29.7 points per game this season.

The Hawk defense was incredible this allowing 8.9 points per game and basically lived in the opposing offenses backfield. The Hawks had 106 tackles for loss, 124 quarterback pressures, 36 sacks, 16 interceptions, 70 passes defended, 5 forced fumbles, and 7 fumble recoveries.

Before we begin the list, there are 24 players and one coach per team. One player did not win two places on any team. That mean there are 72 different players and three different coaches on the teams. Each player's stats were weighed against the others to build each team.

Each team has one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, five offensive linemen, two defensive ends, two defensive tackles, three linebackers, four defensive backs, 1 special teams player, 1 utility player, and one head coach. Six-Man is a collection of the best players from 1A football inside the Concho Valley.
