SAN ANGELO – Law enforcement officers arrested eight individuals in Tom Green County Saturday and early Sunday morning including one man for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and several other charges.
Cesar Cortez, 23, was arrested by Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies for the Aggravated Assault charge. He was also booked on charges of evading arrest and interfering with an emergency assistance call. Cortez was also wanted for two drug charges; a Motion to Revoke Probation for Manufacture and Delivery of Drugs and Motion to Revoke Probation on a Possession of Drugs charge. Cortez was booked into the Tom Green County Jail at 3:12 a.m. Sunday. His bond was initially set at $21,500 but that could be altered by a Magistrate Judge at his first bond hearing.
