Odessa Man Arrested in San Angelo for Lewd Assault of a Teen

SAN ANGELO – An Ector County man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenager in Tom Green County.

According to court documents, on Oct. 19, Kevin Metaxas, 55, of Odessa, was arrested for a grand jury indictment for two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. 

The Indictment alleges that Metaxas sexually assaulted a child under the age of 17 by touching her genitals in Jun. 2006 and in Jan. 2008 while in Tom Green County.

The indictment was handed down by the grand jury in May 2020 and a warrant was issued for Metaxas' arrest on May 19, 2020. 

Metaxas' bond was set at $40,000.
