SAN ANGELO – The driver of a Dodge Challenger involved in a two-vehicle street race on Houston Harte Expressway crashed near the corner of N. Washington St. & Caddo St. during the noon hour Tuesday.
Reporters on the scene say the muscle car was racing another vehicle when in rolled over and crashed between the access road and the eastbound lanes of the expressway near Central High School.
The other vehicle involved in the crash did not stop at the scene, but according to police communications was located a short time later.

Reporters on the scene say it appears there were no serious injuries and no one was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
San Angelo Police officers on the scene investigating the crash didn't say if any citations were issued at the scene.
