SAN ANGELO – The director of a San Angelo nursing home facility was arrested Friday after he was indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for sexual assault a child.

One of those individuals arrested that day was James Howard Baker, 38, of San Angelo. At the time Baker was charged with online solicitation of a minor but the SAPD had mentioned that he could have additional felonies pending.

A Tom Green County Grand jury met on Jun. 8 and indicted Baker for sexual assault of a child. In the court documents it alleges that Baker sexually assault a child under the age of 17 in Jun. 2021.

Baker is listed as the Director of Cedar Manor, a local nursing and rehab home in San Angelo. San Angelo LIVE! has reached out to the nursing home for a statement but they declined to comment.
