San Angelo Man Accepts Plea Deal for Soliciting an Under Aged Girl Online

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man was placed on ten years deferred adjudication probation Monday after he admitted to attempting to meet up with a teenage girl.

According to court documents, on Feb. 28, Auston Brookshire, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of online solicitation of a minor.

Brookshire was originally arrested in Jun. 2021 after he was caught by Texas DPS detective attempting to meet up with a 15-year-old girl.

He was indicted in Oct. and has now accepted a plea deal by the district attorney's office.

In the deal, Brookshire admitted that he was guilty in exchange for ten years deferred adjudication.
