Tornado Drill Set for Wednesday Morning

SAN ANGELO – The National Weather Service office in San Angelo will hold an Areawide Tornado Drill at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.  

We will be having our annual Areawide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, February 23rd at 10 a.m. (coincidentally the same day we’ll be covering all things tornadoes!).

At 10 a.m. we will transmit a TEST tornado warning over the NOAA Weather Radio using the weekly test code.

We implore you to respond to that test warning as you would to actual warning.

This way you can put your tornado safety plan to the test, wherever you are.
