ABILENE, TX — A 19-year-old man was shot and killed at a worksite early Saturday morning.
According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, on Feb. 12 at approximately 9:38 a.m., the Taylor County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in south Taylor County at a job site around the area of Hwy 277 and FM 89, near the Coronado's Camp area.
In the initial report the 19-year-old male was shot and killed, and the murder suspect fled the scene.
It was later released that Sixto Daniel Torres was arrested for the murder of Bernardo Aguilar.
Torres is being held in the Taylor County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
