Local Attorney Endorses Justice of the Peace Susan Werner in Her Bid for Re-election

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo attorney Tiffany Sheppard has endorsed Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Susan Werner in her bid for re-election.

To the Citizens of Tom Green County Pct. #1: 

It is my distinct honor to endorse Judge Susan Werner for re-election as Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1.  I've had the privilege of working closely with Judge Werner since January 2014, when I began my career as Prosecutor in the Tom Green County Attorney's Office.  At the time, Judge Werner was the senior Clerk for Judge J.P. McGuire, Justice of the Peace, Precinct #2. Immediately, I realized how many hats Judge Werner wore in that office and how she contributed to its overall success.  I tried many jury trials and bench trials while Judge Werner worked in Precinct #2 and came to know her work ethic very well.  I became close friends with Judge Werner and celebrated as she became the Judge for Precinct #1.  I remained friends with Judge Werner throughout my career and even had the honor of appearing before her, as Justice of the Peace Precinct #1, on a few matters.  Each time I appeared before her, she was devoted to the rights of her constituents, following the letter of the law and ensuring that matters were reached in a timely and professional manner. 

Judge Werner is the epitome of a Judge for the people and sincerely desires the best for our community.  She diligently works to remain current on the ever changing laws of the State of Texas, which is illustrated in her 375 hours of continued training.  Judge Werner is also a Certified Master Court Clerk and a Certified Emergency Manager. Further, Judge Werner is supported and endorsed by the San Angelo Police Officers PAC.  Judge Werner has 13 years of experience in our local Justice of the Peace Courts and understands the demands of her position.  She has fought vigorously for five years to ensure that justice is fair and swift for the constituents of Precinct #1. 

She is the right choice for Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1.
