Longtime Lawman Endorses Speck for Justice of the Peace

SAN ANGELO – San Angelo LIVE! is publishing letters to the editor endorsing candidates for local political office in the March 1, 2022 Republican Primary.  Dale Pearce is a retired law enforcement officer.

Here is his letter endorsing Stacye Speck for Tom Green County Justice of the Peace in Pct. 3. in the March 1, 2022 Republican Primary.

"I am writing this endorsement letter to extend my support to Stacye Speck for Tom Green County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3.

Stacye worked in my chain of command as a Lieutenant during the 6 years I served as Chief Deputy for the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff David Jones. The commitment, dedication, and knowledge she possesses of criminal and civil law that she has attained during her 27 years serving the citizens of Tom Green County will be a tremendous asset in the position of Justice of the Peace Precinct 3.

I believe it is very important for every voter to cast their vote for qualified candidates, especially at the local level of government. Stacye has been preparing for this position for many years and has structured her educational courses, her work practices and management skills to fulfill the duties of the office of Justice of the Peace.

Please cast your vote for Stacye Speck Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 on March 1, 2022."

Dale Pearce

Early voting begins on Valentine's Day, Monday, Feb. 14.
