Mom Jennifer believes she is with a friend, another 13-year-old girl named Neveah. Calista has a rebellious streak, mom explained. “She has done this before,” Jennifer said.
This time, however, it has been 10 days since daughter Calista has been seen. “She could still be in San Angelo or in the DFW area,” Jennifer said. With sex trafficking of young girls becoming prevalent, Jennifer said her concerns are heightened.
Calista had a short stay in the hospital and had Covid but she recovered. As soon as she returned home, she vanished. The only clues her mother has are from text messages she saw between Calista and her friend shortly Calista’s return home from the hospital. Jennifer said Snapchat and Instagram are where Calista started communicating with others right before she disappeared.
I am scared and am afraid she is in trouble,” Jennifer said. “These are two little girls. Please help me.”
