Alleged Abilene Perv Arrested After Uploading Lewd Images to Dropbox

 

ABILENE, TX –– An Abilene man is facing serious charges after authorities discovered he uploaded lewd images to the online file sharing service known as Dropbox.

According to court documents, the Abilene Police Department was alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of images depicting the sexual assault of children that uploaded back in November from an IP address located in the city.

During the subsequent investigation, APD identified Edward Thomas Walker as a potential subject.

On January 6th, APD investigators contacted Walker. During an interview with police, Walker admitted to looking at and downloading child pornography. According to Walker, he looked at the lewd images because he was curious.

Some of the images depicted children as young as 5 and 6 years olds being.

Walker was later booked into the Taylor County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.
