KNICKERBOCKER, TX – All six of the candidates running in the 2022 March Republican Primary for Tom Green County Commissioner Pct. 4 gathered in the small, historic community of Knickerbocker Thursday evening for their first ever candidate forum.
Incumbent Commissioner Bill Ford was joined by challengers Shawn Nanny, Dustin Barton, CoCo Simpson, Derrick Garnett and Lori Wilson on stage in the Knickerbocker Community Center.
This is the largest field of candidates for a Tom Green County Commissioner seat in recent history.
Forum moderator Jerry Middleton gave each candidate the opportunity to ask the same five questions. They also had a chance at the end of the forum to make closing remarks.
About 50 people attended the first forum for all the candidates.
