SAN ANGELO, TX –– Over the 2021 holiday season, the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office participated in the Texas Department of Transportation's Impaired Driving Mobility Campaign.
As part of the campaign, TGCSO deputies a total of 92 traffic stops.
During the stops the following enforcement actions were taken:
- 14 for speeding
- 22 for intersection violations
- 63 for other traffic violations.
Several suspects were also arrested for the following violations:
- 1 for Driving While Intoxicated
- 2 for Outstanding arrest warrants
- 1 for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance
- 1 for Felony Possession of Marijuana
- 1 for Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.
