Chipotle Mexican Grill to Open Restaurant in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX – Chipotle restaurant officials Friday confirmed that the Mexican grill will be coming to San Angelo soon.

According to Chipotle External Communications Manager Tyler Bensen, on Oct. 22, Chipotle Mexican Grill has decided to bring the extremely popular restaurant to San Angelo by the Summer of 2022.

Chipotle is a burrito bar that offers many options including carnitas, steak, chicken and many other. They offer burritos, burrito bowls, and a quesadillas.

A similar restaurant, Freebirds, was in San Angelo for years but closed down in 2017.

The location for the new restaurant has not been disclosed at this time.
