$250k Bond Set for 24-Year-Old Man Arrested for Online Solicitation of a Child

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division said that they have arrested 24-year-old Jose Angel Zapata of San Angelo for online solicitation of a minor with intent for sexual conduct.

The arrest came after an investigation and Zapata was arrested without incident Mar. 4. Bond was set at $250,000.00.

The charge is a third-degree felony with possible sentencing of not more than 10 years or less than two years with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and a fine not to exceed $10,000.00, if found guilty.
