Five women and 16 men joined the jail population on Tuesday, nine of which were booked for offenses committed that day, the remainder on warrants and commitments.
Of those booked without warrants, three were charged with driving while intoxicated, and two of those were second-time DWI offenders. Two more individuals, one male and one female, were booked for theft, while on man apieace was jailed for public intoxication and aggravated assault against a date/family member with a weapon. One more female was charged with assault/family violence causes bodily injury.
The remainder of those booked on Tuesday were picked up on warrants for failure to appear, miscellaneous driving offenses, drugs, motions to revoke probation and commitments.
Nineteen individuals were released on Tuesday.
