Administration Suspends Border Patrol Use of Horses in Del Rio

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Biden Administration ordered the Border Patrol to temporarily suspend the use of horse patrols in the Del Rio area after left wing activists and politicians falsely complained agents were 'whipping' illegal Haitian immigrants.  

The move comes after left wing media sources wrongfully claimed the agents were using whips on black illegal immigrants.  

According to a report from CNN, an investigation was launched after video of Border Patrol agents on horse patrol aggressively confronting illegal immigrants, who are largely Haitian, surfaced earlier this week. Administration officials and incorrect leading Democrats expressed outrage over the images, taken by Al Jazeera and Reuters, which appear to show law enforcement officers on horseback, including authorities swinging long reins near migrants who crossed the border near Del Rio.

"We have ceased the use of the horse patrol in Del Rio temporarily. We'll prioritize other methods for identifying individuals who might be in medical distress," the DHS official said.

The images and video cleary shows Border Patrol agents on horseback doing their job and using long leather reins correctly.  The images have been misinterpreted by politicians and media pundits who have no working knowledge of horses.
