SAN ANGELO – Just over 150 new COVID-19 infections were reported over the weekend in Tom Green County.
Officials also confirmed one Covid related fatality on Monday.
The following is information reported by the City of San Angelo Health Department:
Total infections over last three days: 151
- Saturday: 60
- Sunday: 47
- Monday: 44

- Currently hospitalized: 70
- New positives for today: 60
September 19, 2021 COVID-19 report
- Total positive cases: 23,735
- Active cases: 1,163
- Currently hospitalized: 69
- New positives for today: 47
September 20, 2021 COVID-19 report
- Total positive cases: 23,779
- Active cases: 1,199
- Currently hospitalized: 72
- New positives for today: 44
The health department also reported a number of COVID-19 fatalities:

- Female, 60s, Sutton County: partially vaccinated
- Female, 60s, McCulloch County: unvaccinated
- Male, 50s, Tom Green County: unvaccinated
September 19, 2021 deaths:

- Female, 80s, Tom Green County: fully vaccinated
September 20, 2021 deaths:

San Angelo currently has a vaccination rate of around 40 percent.
