SAN ANGELO – After years of anticipation, Heff's Burgers is officially back.
Rob Chickering, New Restaurants Operations Coordinator for Heff's Burgers, confirmed that Heff's Burgers is officially fully opened its doors for business.
The restaurant has been partially open since Aug. 23 by only allowing guests to buy burgers through their drive thru line. The following Monday, on Aug. 30, Heff's opened its dining room to customers.
"It has been Awesome," said Chickering. "We have a large following in San Angelo. Sales have been through the roof and the crowds have stayed consistent."
Heff's Burgers left San Angelo in 2018 but promises that things will be different this time around. "Our number one focus is on guest service," said Chickering. "We aren't like most burger places that take your order at the counter. Here at Heff's we have a two bite or two minute policy which makes sure that our guest are taken care of."
Chickering emphasized the word "guest." This is due to the company's feel that no one that enters their restaurant is customer but instead like a guest in their home. Other things to make guests feel like home are giant TVs and comfortable furniture.
Heff's is opened seven days a week 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. They are known for their original "Heff's Burger" but Chickering said that the local favorites San Angeloans seemed to order were the "Bucket Burger" and the "Eggcellent Burger." He also boasted that Heff's Burgers served Blue Bell ice cream.
