SAN ANGELO, TX – Congressman August Pfluger says that the Biden administration should be ashamed of the collapse and policy failure in Afghanistan which led to the terrorist bombings killing American servicemen.
As previously reported, on Aug. 27, Angelo State University held a ceremony Thursday afternoon celebrating the start of ASU's new Cybersecurity Program. For the original article see: Angelo State Inks Deal with UTSA for Cybersecurity Program
During the event Pfluger gave remarks about the new Cybersecurity program. He commended the University for getting the program but first gave his remarks on the current situation in Afghanistan.
He began with a moment of silence and then followed up by speaking about the impact the suicide bombings and deaths of Americans on the country and San Angelo.
"There is no doubt right now, all over the world and in Afghanistan, folks that our community help raise up, train, and send out into harms way that are helping people stay safe," said Pfluger. "I ask for your prayers for them specifically to do their job, to keep us safe, so we can emerge from this with no further casualties."
Pfluger has been very critical of the Biden administration since he was elected Congressman and is continuing to do so through the Afghanistan debacle.
