NEW YORK, NY –– After losing almost all of their U.S. stores in 2018, Toys 'R' Us will return to Macy's stores in the country.
According to a press release by the company, starting Friday U.S. customers can purchase Toy 'R' Us products exclusively online at macys.com/toysrus and ToysRUs.com.
"Our partnership with Macy’s marks the greatly anticipated return of Toys ” R” Us in the U.S.A., and changes the retail landscape by combining two beloved retail brands together for consumers across the nation in a completely innovative way," said Yehuda Shmidman, Chairman & CEO of WHP Global and Toys “R” Us. "We’re thrilled to be launching this new partnership together with Macy’s.”
In 2022, the retailer will begin selling the products inside approximately 400 Macy's stores.
When shoppers visit the participating Macy's stores they will be welcomed by Geoffrey the Giraffe.
