SAN ANGELO, TX – The coronavirus Delta variant is spreading rapidly and has been confirmed by health officials in San Angelo.
The City of San Angelo's Public Information Office made the following post on Facebook on the morning of Jul. 23:
"The Delta variant of the coronavirus, known as B.1.617.2, is raising some concerns among health experts. Why? Because it seems to spread more easily. But there's good news too: So far, COVID-19 vaccines work well against this strain of the virus."
